The name Rap Port is a brand that signifies unbiased, knowledgeable, youthful professionalism. It stands on its own with a brand equity that is secured by its level of performance within its target group and the easy absorbable manner it executes its information exchange.
The youth of the Rap Port are seen as the neutral face that provides the much-needed service in the community. We represent the body of necessary knowledge presented in an unbiased manner that is readily accessed, non threatening and consequently readily available. The Rap Port youth drop in centre is designed to be an integral part of efforts at HIV and AIDS prevention among youth in the Turks and Caicos Islands. As such the services, appearance and functions of the centre and its personnel have to remain relevant to the youth of the day. Since there needs to be continued relevance for this primary target group the structure of the organization needs to be on a very well informed platform of service delivery at all times. |
